This is my card for this week's mixability challenge. I made it for a friend of my daughter who is starting her first year of teaching. I used punches to make the scissors and pencil. I stamped the apple with ink and watercolored it with markers. I made my school lined paper with colored pencils and ruler. I wrote "letter" with pencil. I die cut the letters for the bottom of the easel. I saw the scissors and pencil on a blog in 2009. You can see that HERE.

Love this teacher card, especially the handwritten note, so cute.
I'm still trying to figure out what the Mix challenge is...waiting for it to come up...

What a brilliant back-to-school themed card, MariLynn. I'm sure it's not easy starting in and facing her first class, and she will really appreciate this.

Live the punched pencil and scissors and the apple is beautifully water colored. The burlap really is a wonderful texture and works perfectly on your card.
