What a great challenge to-day. It is a well known fact that the ladies (and I use the term loosely) in my stamp group have larceny in their hearts...particularly for paper serviettes! They seem to love the faux linen technique and are always on the prowl for interesting napkins. I managed to save a few for myself before they get their grubby little hands on them at our meeting on Monday night. LOL The greeting is a very old (probably the first die I ever bought) Provo Craft die. I managed to part with a piece of my beloved antique lace so this will go to a special person..to be named later!!

WOW...if you hadn't mentioned that this was a paper serviette, I would have thought you had painted it, Sue...you are that talented. : ) Creates a beautiful card and the addition of your antique lace makes it a VERY special card for that special person.

What a lovely vintage look with the slightly crinkled tissue. I'm terrible, I keep them and never do anything with them. When I saw your title, I was thinking of the technique with glossy paper and sanding - and even though this is something different, thank you for the reminder...especially as I just turned up a scrap of gloss card on my desk. Your treasured lace goes with this so perfectly, a real Victorian-style card.
