Mary gave the most beautiful color combination to work with today, with dessert being, Fall. With these colors (Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Garden Green), Fall was easy to do!
I used Jill Foster's technique for inking brushstroke style stamps and repeatedly stamping in the colors desired. This would have been so much easier with my MISTI, but this stamp is a wood mount and I hate to take it off it's block. SO, I very carefully did this technique with my Stamp-a-ma-jig. After the repeated stamping to get all the colors on the image, I inked the stamp again with Versamark and heat embossed with clear powder and then completed the background coloring with Copics.
The image was layered and then mounted on a layer with a woodgrain embossed piece. This was fun! Thanks for the great colors today, Mary!

Beautiful fall card Claudia, you did a great job stamping even without the Misti.... The Stamp-a-ma-jig can be a little touchy. Love the cajun craze embossed with the woodgrain....

Wow! This turned out great! I am super impressed you did this technique with a wood-mount stamp. The colors are gorgeous and your fall scene is so rich and vibrant; especially with the blue you did around the scene. I love the sponged and embossed background too. Very nice indeed! ~Karen.
What a lovely fall card, Claudia! I love the pumpkin, gourd and apple with the pretty leaves! The embossed woodgrain is perfect and I really like the green twine! You used the same idea as Maura did with her scene--I need to check out the technique!
