CC598: chocolate chip, cajun craze, crushed curry, garden green
These colors scream fall. Saturday I made a double k-cup holder, today I made two single K-cup holders. The one on the left I made this morning, I tried every color for the box but I wasn't quite happy with it, so after dinner I tried again and made the one on the right which I think I like a little better. These were fun to make.
6 1/2 x 11 piece card stock for box
2 1/2 x 11 piece card stock scored in half for back (card area)
I created a single box for my k-cup by scoring the piece of 6 1/2 x 11 inch cs. On the 6 1/2 inch side I scored at 2 inches and 4 1/2 inches. On the 11 inch side I scored at 1/2 inch, 3 inch, 5 inch, 7 1/2, and 9 1/2 inches. Remove all four corners and cut the 3inch, 5inch and 7 1/2 inch score lines on each side to the score marks you made first. I folded the 1/2 score piece over and punched out a circle for the k-cuo using my 1 3/4 inch circle punch. Take the folded 2 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch card and slide the front inside the back of the box and adhere the other half to the back of the outside of the box. You might have to trim the card a little to fit inside, it depends on your exact scoring and cutting. It is probably best to decorate the box before adhering it all together. I hope this all makes sense.
Thanks for looking
