Thanks Karen for a great technique lovers challenge. I popped out into the vegetable patch and the garden for some leaves. I found my Japanese eggplant leaf gave me the best impression so used that for the challenge. I pressed off half a dozen different leaf images for future use. I love how subtle some of the images were especially the fern. I will add that a little later. It was so easy, the only messy part was getting green water all over the plates on my cuttlebug

Christine, I have never seen an impression as clear as this leaf from a plant before. This is amazing! You managed to capture every vein so clearly! This is gorgeous! What a gorgeous color and fabulous sentiment!

Oh my goodness, green water yes!!! I was using nasturtium leaves a couple of weeks ago for stamping with leaves, and it wasn't just the plates, it was the mat under my BS as well. I'm surprised that an aubergine (to me ;-) leaf would have been that moist, though. It looks beautiful paired with that sentiment, love your choice of not-black for the colour. Sounds as if you've been in the kitchen between the leaf and the ink colour.

Bestill my heart, this is absolutely gorgeous! It is amazing the results you have achieved here with an actual eggplant leaf. I am so impressed. I love the color and I really love the sentiment you put with this too! Wow! ~Karen.

This is one beautiful "stamped" leaf - love how all the details showed up in the vein structure. I have seen this technique done with hydrangeas and would love to give it a try - but have to wait a few months for the flowers to appear - only just pruned then and only buds on the hydrangea at the moment. Roll on Spring - only two more days to go.

You win....best impression of flora in the gallery so far today. Really amazing. You certainly have perfected the technique in creating this lovely card.
