Hi, sweet friends, and happy Saturday! I never got to play with the rest of the team for this newest remixed digi for Power Poppy, so I decided to try today. Wow, do I love Harry & David! I was inspired by these two flowers - here and here.
This little cup is a digi that was made from one of the very first clear stamp sets by Power Poppy called Marcella's Mixtape, but the cup was a bitty one. Now we can enlarge it any size we want and enjoy coloring all those sweet flowers. I chose to color my buttercups a rose (not yellow - even though they grow in lots of colors), and my little cup that could be a little pitcher is blue/turquoise. I used a new die that I've not used before from Papertrey and then just embossed the background. I did some faux piercing. Yep, I was lazy and used a multi-liner for the little dots. I did add some Wink of Stella on the petals and then added some tiny pearls. So that's it!
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the weekend! Big hugs, sweet friends!

Love this, Cheryl! I ordered the MixTape set during the sale specifically for this cup of flowers. It is so sweet! Your coloring is beautiful and I like your piercing, too!

What a gorgeous, gorgeous card Cheryl! Wow! The way you colored this delicate cup of flowers is so real I feel like I can reach out and touch one of these beautiful flower petals. I love the colors you chose for this card, the embossed background is absolutely perfect, and I love how you cut into the scalloped circle to thread your vertical panel through. The piercing and pearls are the perfect finishing touches! I am adding this to my favorites! Hugs! ~Karen.

Even with a quick glance at the IC gallery, I KNEW this was your card, Cheryl. You have a beautiful and distinctive way of coloring your images. Marcella has to be SO proud of how you present her images. Love the simple color scheme to really make the bouquet and cup stand out.
