This is my first upload.. be gentle. I had a lot of fun making this card. I bought the stamp set with my sister in mind.. she loves her teas and lattes. I think I may have gotten a little carried away with the distress ink.. but it was beautiful in person. I'm trying to learn how to best capture my cards with a camera. If you have any tips for me, please, PM me. Thanks for looking!

Hi, Jennifer, and welcome to SCS! Congratulations on your very first upload, and it really is a fabulous card with the steaming cup of tea and the great texture of the background. Yes, we all remember that first upload and how scary it was. But you've done it, and yay! I agree with palparis and think the rich colors and swirls of the background are perfect for the tea. I love tea too. So now that you are over the worst - the first upload, I hope we'll be seeing more of your cards.
I know you'll find lots of inspiration and encouragement here at SCS, and perhaps you might consider joining a challenge found on the Home Page. Looking forward to seeing more of your lovely work, and I think your photograph is a great one! Hugs!
P. S. You might want to go to the Forum, "Start Here" and get familiar with SCS. Here's a direct link.

Super pretty with the wonderful embossing and sweet cup filled with coffee/tea. Congrats on your first upload and hope there are many more.

Such a fun card for your sister. I am sure she loved it. I found taking the picture was harder than making the darn card ... here is a link to some helpful hints.
It's adorable, and looks like it's tea-stained which is perfect for your theme!
Two tips from me: good lighting and I put a coordinating sheet of cardstock behind my card to cover up a busy background so that all the focus is on your card.
