For today's Inspiration challenge - EcoCycled. I didn't choose a particular piece, but this compass sent me to look at my nautical and large word stamps, resulting in this card.
I created a woodgrain piece (see Karen's tutorial http://snippets-karen.blogspot.ca/20...-tutorial.html) then cut out the center, leaving a frame. Glued the page to a piece of cardstock, stamped and assembled the pieces onto a burgundy base.
The Christian meaning of ANCHOR is strength.

Priscilla, this is wonderful! Perfect choice of words to go with that great image, and the woodgrain frame is awesome - love the touch of color it provides!

What a perfect take on your inspiration! I've tried that wood grain and certainly didn't get the results you did! The hint of color looks wonderful on it. What a great choice of words for your image. This is so beautifully composed.
