I might have got sidetracked. But this morning I read Lydia's Challenge for the Mix-ability Challenge and watched the video. Fabulous journal pages she has done with this technique. Then, by this afternoon when I did it, I just remembered the illegible writing part! And that reminded me on the Vintage watercolor technique. Oh, and I have a bunch of stamps out on my desk that I haven't used in a while, and these ladies were there. I decided to use them. I stamped them with the vintage photo ink on Very Vanilla. Then I was going to watercolor with the pencils. Doesn't work as well as it does on watercolor paper! Used the aqua brush and the copper beach pencil. Then stamped the ladies again, and masked these ladies. Then I had fun writing illegibly with the close to cocoa marker. Wrote what meant something to me.
Then while masks were on, I splattered with aqua brush off the copper beach pencil, even made a little water in a dish, and spattered that. Then took the masks off and let it dry. Mounted on a Close to Cocoa panel with redline tape and then on a Creamy Carmel base. I put the Copper Fabric Fancies flowers on the ladies. Just playing in my craft room!!! Thanks for looking.

This is pure vintage magic!!! Miss Sharon I thought this a gorgeous script dp behind your fabulous ladies. When you start work, designing paper for Graphic 45, I hope you remember your friends here in Splitcoaststamperville. I love this to bits!!

Fantastic creation. One could write several stories about these ladies. Your writing could allude to the conversation the two (mother and daughter?) women are having (are these pearls real?) The other, nonchalant, appears to be disinterested, but the way she's holding her hand, makes me think she's imagining how they feel and would know they're worth. Thanks for the inspiration.
