I am your hostess this week and I have chosen cherry cobbler, always artichoke, and pool party. For dessert: some bling! I am embarrassed to admit however, that when I created my card I thought I remembered the colors that I chose, but when I got ready to write this I realized I had picked Pool Party - not Soft Sky -oops!!! Pretty close, though!
I first created the frame by stamping the wood grain stamp in smoky slate, and then dye cutting the frame. Then I stamped and assembled the fox, the tree stump, and the trees, and created some snowdrifts with my stitched landscape dies. I sponged on the card front with soft sky (oops!), and then assembled all the pieces with dimensional tape, added snowflakes punched from glitter card stack and embellished with clear gems.

Love this card, Maura! I came very close to making the same mistake. I had this lovely piece of Soft Sky DS paper, even cut it to size, and then realized, "It's Pool Party, not Soft Sky." But if you hadn't told us, none of us would ever have noticed, I'm sure! Anyway, what a fun card! I love the wood frame, the hills and the cute fox!

Awe, Maura, this card is fantastic!!! If you had not told us, I would have never guessed that you used Soft Sky! Regardless, the card is beautiful and I love the wood grain in Smoky Slate!! Great work, my friend!!

I have to say, I do the same thing with the same colors. Nonetheless, your card is cute with that little fox, and I would have no problem accepting it for my winter birthday!

Oh my goodness, your foxy scene is terrific, Maura! I tell you, if you hadn't said anything about the color mixup, probably no one would have been the wiser. :-) Totally love your card!!
