Hi, sweet friends! Surely most of you have recovered from Dare To Get Dirty! I am still amazed at how many have completed all 40 challenges! What fun - for them, but not me this year! Perhaps next year!
Anyway, here is the newest Instant Garden digital release from Power Poppy, and it's quite a collection of flowers. I had to research some of them to see what colors they were. I almost always color the entire image, but this one really lends itself to being cropped and used in many ways. I have actually cropped it and added a sentiment for a bookmark/tag. Haven't colored it yet, but I hope to soon.
I used one of the three sentiments and sized this to fit a new Papertrey die that I recently bought. It die cuts the entire card with the stitched scalloped edges all around and even scores it to fold. Love it! After coloring, I had the "fun" of cutting it down just enough (but not too much) to allow for a narrow mat of Calypso Coral (a SU color I've never used before - eek!). Anyway, the rest was easy, and I hope you like it. It sure has lots of possibilities. And I look forward to seeing what some of you do with it. It's available right now - oh, the joy of digital images! Hehe!
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Cheryl, I'm so very happy to be able to come here and see this card up close a bit more as I can study your coloring from it!! I just love the detail you put into your cards and I think coloring can be very therapeutic indeed!! You are so good at it along with the scallop framing around your card which adds that special elegance to it as well!! Love the care you put into each design you make my friend! HUGS

Bestill my heart! This is incredible Cheryl. Wow! I absolutely adore wild flowers and butterflies and you captured that perfectly here. You colored this so expertly I feel like I can reach out and touch these beautiful petals and feel them. I love the blue highlights around the flower image, the delicate little butterfly and the gorgeous frame dies around this incredible image. This is a masterpiece that will be enjoyed by whomever receives it. I, for one, would frame this! Hugs! Karen.

Wow, wow, wow Cheryl - I love this beautiful scalloped card. My wallet is starting to recover from last weekend's craft show has just gone into meltdown again and is sobbing its heart out as I have decided that I must have that die too. This is such a beautiful bunch of wild flowers and I can just imaging you out in the fields collecting them. As always - just stunning.
