Saturdays are my RUSH day, so I usually can't get to a challenge. No time to read about color blocking, but I did look at the site and get very inspired by the "easy look' of what could be done fast.
I was inspired by the bold contrast of color of this dress.

I first stamped the sentiment on the yellow, then put the black piece behind the yellow cardstock and cut through both layers so they would fit together.
I changed the color to yellow and embossed the black with Swiss Dots. Then I stamped the top half of the Local King sunflower and added a layer of black cardstock to the back. I need so many Get Well cards lately and this fits the bill. Thanks for looking.

You did an excellent job of color blocking on this! The curved edge gives this card some "edge" design-wise. Terrific card Carol ;) Glad you got to play today.
