I loved the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge's sketch so much, I had to use it on a class project. If you want to check out these challenges, please go here: http://watercoolerchallenges.blogspot.com/
The design team always inspires me!
I also used the colors from CC594: watermelon wonder, peekaboo peach and pear pizzazz. These colors were perfect for my transforming flower.
I cut the flower from the botanical builder framelits and then snipped off a petal to make a butterfly. The antennae also came from the same framelit. Thank you, Filomena Green, for this terrific way to make a butterfly. You were great in showing the steps.
I think my classes will be excited to add another butterfly to their repertoire.
Thanks for looking. Susie

What a clever idea, Susie, to chop off that one petal from the Botanical Builders blossom and thus create a butterfly. The shape really echoes the shapes of the embossed butterflies as well. Love the colours and the way you've incorporated all these details into our sketch challenge. The antennae, also snipped from those framelits, are brilliant. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

Susie, this is simply a great card. I love warm colours and the Fluttering embossing you've done on the panels, but I must say I was blown away by your addition of the butterfly made with the Botanicals Flower. Transformation indeed, this really stepped this card up to another level. Thanks so much for sharing.

Wow - what a brilliant idea to create a butterfly from the Botanical Builders flower framelit, Susie! I like how you added the antennae from the smaller flower, too. Great use of the butterfly embossing folder for your background panels, too. Thanks for joining our Watercooler Wednesday challenge. ~Deborah
