So I was still a bit twitchy about the one layer card from yesterday - thrilled that it ended up working for so many challenges, but still not loving the (to me) unfinished look. But ya can't waste a perfectly fine card, right? So I cut it down to just under 4", added another layer under it for dimension, matted it to a black panel and centered on a 4.75" square base.
Now I'm back in my comfort zone, my little world is back in balance and I have a card that will be sent out. Life is good!

Oh, Debbie, this is beautiful as are all your cards! And I especially love this sentiment as I get older. I hope my friend always remembers the words of my favorite songs. So dear! Beautifully done, as always, sweet friend! Big hugs!

Still laughing about the layers! Since I have never created a one layer card successfully, you should be proud! it's not always easy! I do love the narrow mat on this though- it looks so polished!
