On our inspiration site today, I was inspired by several images that showed a gold decorative trim against white such as this one: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/320107485991363841/
This is also for Giovana's and Tabbatha's DTGD challenges.
I used my new Lavish Swirl Die to cut the pretty detailed border and die cut the leaves from my Songbirds set - both from gold foil cs. I embossed the bottom portion of the ivory card base with simple stripes, but it's hard to see in the photo. Also, gold foil cs is so hard to photograph. It looks much shinier (and golder) IRL. Stamped the sentiment first in Delicata Gold ink, didn't like it, so re-stamped in black and love how it gave a slight gold shadow next to the black (hard to see in the photo). Assembled.

Oh, Maura! WOW! This is absolutely stunning, and the gold with the ivory card stock is gorgeous! What amazing dies, and I love the leaves with the stitching. And do I ever love that diagonal die too! Beautifully finished with the embossing at the bottom with the one small leaf! Truly a great card, my friend! Hugs! xoxo
