This is my card for the week 2 Alphabet challenge to make a card using the letter P. So I am calling these sunny flowers posies. This is a 2-step stamp, but I did not use the outline stamp, just the base stamp. I inked the stamp in summer sun and stamped it. Then re-inked the stamp again in various places with crushed curry to get some depth of color. The flower centers are inked in the lighter brown, then I used the fine tip of a darker brown marker to add little dots to the flower centers. I separated this Heidi Swapp thank you die so it would fit on the card and it is cut out of glitter paper so it is very sparkly; just like the brown layer mat is. I am trying to pull out some of my older stamps and use them again, and this was a wonderfully fun card to make.

Karen, I can't believe you achieved such clean impressions on those petals! Your card is so cheerful and absolutely delightful! Love the happy colors you used!

Pretty card for Letter P. I am using older sets, too. I just used this very same set yesterday and today. I like what you've done with it. The bumble bee stamp you used is so cute. I like it better than the one in the stamp set, which I used. Nicely done with the die-cut and how it shows the paper behind it. Nicely framed with a thin mat and a wide white border. Well done with letter P and your beautiful card. TFS
