While I can't share the actual challenge details, I can share some things about this card. Usually when I am creating a smack & squirt background for a scene, I cut an extra piece of card and do 2 or 3 scenes at the same time.
Smack distress ink pad onto aluminium foil, squirt on water then using a foam blending tool, scrub the inky water onto the card. It is important to use a new piece of foil when you change colours, it stops making that muddy brown colour.
I did the background stamping with Ranger Archival black ink and the silhouette image with Versafine Onyx black (the Versafine is much darker). The moon on the framed card was done by placing a circle stencil over the coloured card and scrubbing on Brilliance moonlight white ink. The other moon was made with using a round foam blending tool and Brilliance ink. This ink goes over the top of distress inks like a dream - I sure won't bother masking a moon again.
The frame was cut using a very sharp blade and metal ruler.
My love for creating little scenes is because of Kittie and Pat (Blooms in a box). I have learnt (and continue to learn) so much from Kittie. I am incredibly grateful to be a part of this wonderful community and I hope you have enjoyed this wonderful DTGD week.
Thank you for looking.

Aw, she is one of my favorite fairies! I love the beautiful sunset sky you've made and those toad stools are so bomb! Beautiful moon too!
Did you know that Pat Smethers is a friend who lives fairly close to me...about 45 miles. She comes up to visit our local store and we meet there sometimes! She is so sweet!!! Last time she came she brought me wonderful home made goodies!

Susie, this is awesome! Love the bold colors & lovely silhouettes. You may want to ck this..it's still showing up as in the Hostess gallery & not in the challenge gallery.
Susie, this is a gorgeous piece of art. I love the colors of your beautiful sky and the moon is glorious. Susie, we all learn from each other. That is my favorite thing about SCS. Everyone loves to share their craft with others. That is what makes this such an unusual community of people. I absolutely adore your beautiful scene. Thank you for making a sample for my challenge. Big hugs! xoxo

WOWZERS! What a scene. If I didn't read your write up I might have thought this was one of Kittie's cards. She is the scene queen, isn't she?! Another woman with much patience. Thanks for explaining your technique. The results are simply stunning. Very eye-catching.
