I'm combining challenges using the TLC Retiform technique to participate in Dina's DTGD challenge and also her last Mixability challenge to use a color Pantone has declared ugly but I happen to love! I chose some subdued colors to use this for a sympathy card. I masked off the diagonal panel with some painter's tape to leave my sentiment area blank. I then used pieces of paper to mask off each area of sponging and stamped while they were masked off as well. With the tape still in place I sprayed with some walnut ink spray. I also added some liquid pearl accents.

I like your twist, Gail. And I was just thinking last night that this would be a good technique fit for a sympathy card; I see I was right. I just love the colours, and especially the Liquid Pearl dots on the white part.

Wow, I haven't done a retiform card for years - I will have to pull that out of the archives! I love that you combined my 2 challenges from the weekend - that worked so well! Thank you so much for playing along with me, and for supporting Splitcoast as a Fan Club Member, Gail!
