I made the background a while back, I will tell you what I think I used. I sponged on distress inks and added a gold spray on top if it. The MIX challenge for today was to do faux gold leaf technique. I put the faux gold behind my mosaic heart.

That looks so cool, Shirley, the way you layered the faux leafing behind the heart. LOL on trying to remember what you used, happens all the time to me when I pull something from my reject/spares box. This has a really great fresh, modern feel to it.

Holy Smokes - not sure where this idea came from but it is FABULOUS - gonna have to try it - and SOON!! What a cool looking card - and I have a lot of "see through" dies to play with for it!! This faux leafing is AWESOME!

Your background colors blew me away- they are gorgeous! Then I saw that beautiful mosaic heart with the gold behind it and went - wow! I love this gorgeous smile die cut too. Really, really nice! ~Karen
