This is my card for the alphabet challenge and I am trying to catch up. This was last week's challenge, to feature the letter Z. I looked up the meaning of the word Zephyr and it means soft breezes or west wind. So my sailboat is called Zephyr. I knew someone who named his yacht Zephyr. That's where I got this idea. However when I picked up the stamp set, the sailboat was missing. I stamped the palm trees, and part of that stamp was the sun. I coloured the sunset scene with copics and Tombo markers. I cut a slit into the water to insert the sailboat sticker that I found. I ink distressed the edges with of both squares with dark blue. The background striped paper is by SU. The lower cross panel was edge punched and the sentiment was die cut. I laid the seashell beads on this card for the photo. They are rather thick, so if I send this out in the mail, I won't adhere them, but if I deliver it in person, I will adhere them.

Ina, did I read somewhere you've retired? Good for you. Hopefully, we'll be seeing more of your work moving forward. You've painted a brilliantly colored water scene. It's perfect against your papers, design and sentiment.

Such a lovely card Ina! Beautiful scene you created with your sailboat and palm trees and I love the background papers. I have some of that star paper - got it at Hobby Lobby!
