This is for IC554 and our inspiration site this week call Petals. My project was inspired the Twiggy Forsythia Wreath. When I saw the twiggy wreath I was instantly reminded of a Christmas wreath I made in the past using my Impression Obsession Wide Tree die. Sadly, I am getting old so I had to go back and look at my own Twiggy Wreath step by step tutorial on my blog to remember how I put it together. This time I filled the wreath with green foliage and added lots and lots of tiny yellow flowers. I wanted to place it on a plain background so it would be all about the wreath but ended up adding a frame outlined with the same yellowish orange color in the flowers.

Totally mind-blowing, Kittie. I cannot begin to imagine the hours it took to create this glorious card....from cutting all the little pieces to the final assembling. Really SPECTACULAR!

Thud! I just fell off my chair : ) When I saw that forsythia wreath in the inspiration site I thought it was so pretty, but I would probably never attempt anything as intricate - it is right in your wheelhouse, though! This is just outstanding!

It's like an explosion of SPECTACULAR BEAUTY all wrapped into a card! FYI: I believe your age is nothing to be 'sad' about. Your acquired artistic flair and style are the result of time passing and hours spent in creative exploration - fortunately - for us! Fav'd!
