Hello, dear friends! How about more flowers? Surprise, right? I absolutely love sunflowers, and we've even grown some here in our yard. Oh, they are amazing and come in all sorts of colors. So I had fun coloring the newest Instant Garden digi. I decided to use X-Press It Blending Card for this card and used my Copic chart that I colored printed on X-Press It Blending Card. It's amazing the difference in the colors depending on what paper you use. Anyway, I colored my image and slowly added more contrast (something that terrifies me - ha!). The photograph doesn't capture the softer yellow I used. But it is nicer IRL, I think. There are two very nice sentiments with this release, but I need some cards for friends that are in need of prayer. So the lovely sentiment from Rose & Chamomile is perfect. I wanted this full image to take front stage, so I used the Wonky Stitched dies with a blue mat, and that makes for a very mail friendly card.
And since I've used the decorative wonky stitching for my border, I'm using this for this week's Ways To Use It challenge.
Thanks for taking a closer look at my card. I hope you like it, and I hope that it will encourage my friend. Have a wonderful weekend coming up, and let's all continue to pray for our country and for France.

Oh, your coloring is just the best, Cheryl. This is such a beautiful card and sure to lift the spirit of the recipient. Yes, such a tragedy in France and my prayers are with them.

Cheryl, this is incredible! LOVE your coloring and I agree, those shadows and contrast are difficult. You, my friend, mastered it! You brought these gorgeous sunflowers to life! What a beautiful card and love that stitched border!

This is a true masterpiece! The coloring of these gorgeous sunflowers in this fabulous striped pot is exquisite! The stitched edge adds the perfect touch! I love sunflowers too and if I received this wonderful card, it would be put into a frame and enjoyed for a very long time!

Gorgeous card. Love the beautifully colored sunflowers! The striped vase is really cute. Love the font of the sentiment and it's an encouraging one, too. The stitching looks great and it is a lovely way to decorate all the way to the border. Great job! Agreed - we should pray for our country and France. TFS

Beautiful, Cheryl. That striped jug brings me straight back to childhood summer holidays - so many of the summer cottages we rented had china in that design. And what's not to love about sunflowers - always happy-making. The embossed stitching is a perfect way of taking the border to the edge.
