This is my submission for this weeks CAS, normally I would only do a single layer but it is difficult with water color paper so there is a little matting.
I have used the marker technique which is quick and easy and fairly forgiving.
All you need to do is scribble the marker of choice onto a non-porous surface of some kind such as a tile or plastic pallet in my case and then pick the color up with your aqua brush and apply to the area.
If you wish to do a wash then all you have to do is water down your marker ink by spritzing said ink and I also dampen the water color paper where I wish to apply the wash.
I was going to put a greeting onto the front of the card but decided to leave it clean and simple, ha, ha.
The greeting is inside where I have matted some X-Press It blending paper onto some SU Melon Mambo, first blending some Melon Mambo ink around the edges of the blending paper and stamping the greeting "Congratulations" in Melon Mambo then over stamping with Versa Mark Watermark and heat embossing with clear embossing powder.
Cheers
Marg

This is FANTASTIC!!! I am so impressed with your coloring, this is gorgeous!!! I wish I could color like this!!! Beautifully matted, you were wise to keep the rest of the card very simple so that the beauty of your coloring would shine--and it does, beautifully. I am wildly impressed with this!!!
