This card is a combination of two SCS challenges, the MIX180, Notan Technique, and IC553, Black & White. The card is a Zentangle piece using the Japanese Notan technique.
Last Friday, I was working on Janelle's (dizzymommie) Notan Technique Challenge, but didn't get it finished. Janelle, you provided us with a wonderful challenge, and a challenge it was for me. Then Saturday, Audrie (girlgeek101) provided us with a wonderful Pinterest Board for inspiration to create in Black and White . Love the Board, Audrie!
As I was browsing the Board, this Zentangle Boot (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/317433473718232478/) jumped out at me, and I immediately knew my struggle with the Notan technique was over. I decided to use the white space resulting from creating with the Notan technique to create a Zentangle. I hope you enjoy the card as much as I did making it, although it took me more time than I wanted.
Thanks for viewing and commenting!

This is amazing! I have a Zentangle board on Pinterest but haven't really tried it much. I love what you did here and how you manage to combine these challenges!
