For today's IC: These plates reminded me of stamp etching, so that's the direction I went with today. My idea actually made me nervous...To emboss on black and etch on vanilla, that is. It all came together though, and I'm quite happy with the results. I sponged around the oval with Frost White to soften the darkness. The etched flowers and vanilla die-cut are popped up. Thanks for stopping by today! ~Roberta

TY for the kind words on my card. When you said you embossed your black bg as well had to come see. It is really pretty. One might have to emboss black more often. I didn't think it would show up as neat. I am glad you said how you softened the edges. I was wondering what color or how you did that. It worked so well. VERY pretty flower design and job well done. Thanks for sharing....:0)
------------------------------ We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.

This is a striking and elegant card. The embossed background goes so well with the frame and the flowers and leaves are fabulous. Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
