I chose sketch SC565, but I flipped it upside down. On the main panel I roughly estimated where I wanted the sky, water, and ground and then sponged some gray, marina mist combined with indigo for the water, and marina mist only for the sky. To make the "white caps" I used a stiff bristle brush to dab white pigment ink on the water. Stamped and die cut the lighthouse, and did some sponging on the other die cuts. To give the sand (or rocks) some texture I stamped a texture stamp in gray over the gray sponging. Die cut the snowdrifts die, assembled and popped up this whole panel with dimensionals - very happy with how it turned out! I think it could work for a guy or a gal - always a plus in my book!

Holy Cow...this is spectacular! I absolutely love that gorgeous background and your attention to details with the die cuts is amazing! Into my faves for sure.
Maura your card is just gorgeous! Love the way you used the colours for a fabulous background and the lighthouse is such a perfect use of the red! Thank you so much for sharing with us at the colourQ this week!
