Loved last weeks sketch and the inspiration challenge a couple of weeks ago "Tim Holtz Mania." As far as the sketch goes, I made it more of a rectangle than a square. I printed the digi frog, colored him in with cra-z-y art pencils, cut him out, glued him behind the pocket, and gave him glossy accents over the eyes. The pocket was cut from dp. Then the shape was traced around some dark blue cs, cut out and layered. I added all the flowers and layered some, and gave them all liquid pearl accents. I cut the banner, double stamped the sentiment and glued to the bottom. The banner/tag at the top was made using a square punch. The butterfly, (this is where my Tim Holtz inspiration comes in) was cut with my cricut cart. picturesque out of the heavy plastic that our dies come in. I used alcohol inks in plum, stream, and metallic pearl to cover it. Then I traced it onto a piece of white, fussy cut the image, layered together, bent up the wings, added liquid pearls in gold and adhered. This was my inspiration. I lost the link to my inspiration. I will add that later.
