Playing with watercolors and tried painting on regular everyday card stock.
The outcome is a rough surface. Had to lessen the amount of water used and was not able to blend the colors as well on paper. Had to blend the colors in my pallet.
Had to try it at least once!! TFL!!

ROTFL....you said "Had to try it at least once" like it was a bad thing (and don't think I didn't notice all the other negative words). Miss Ann we need to talk. This is TERRIFIC...as in seriously terrific. I bet it looks even more TERRIFIC in real life with the rough texture. You should frame this and let it serve as a reminder that you should NOT judge your own work. I LOVE it!!!

This came out wonderfully for a "just had to try it once." I'm also amused at Susie's gentle scolding, ^ This is a lovely scene and would love to spend a summer at a place like this. Great job with the watercolors!

It is a very happy scene I think!! Who wouldn't want to have a cottage on the beach like that!!!??? So don't worry about your water coloring...it looks great! Thanks for playing!
