Another LATE VSN card...this one for Jan's red/white/blue challenge. I am also submitting it for today's Free4All beach challenge. It also fits a recent blog challenge at The Paper Players(my 2016 goal is to do all of the challenges there!).
Scenic cards are always tricky for me. My shoreline is too rigid, but this was attempt #2. Attempt #1 went straight into the trash!

You are too harsh on yourself Kim, this looks fabulous and I bet your first attempt did too LOL. I learnt a great gesso tip from Polly's F4A card, I can't wait to give it a try. Here is a link MIX F4A The Good Life by peeps321 at Splitcoaststampers
Back to your card....love it, love it, love it.

Your scene turned out beautifully. I like the soft, dreamy feel of your card. The little angled pail looks like you caught it just before it fell over.
