This is for the Alphabet Challenge Letter W with the Double Challenge to represent the first thing you see out your window that starts with W. I saw the water in our pool and the wind, rather the results of the wind in the tree branches. I was reminded of a sentiment from Dockside ~ Ann. We had exchanged images and she kindly included some wonderful sentiments. I used up all the sailing ships she sent, but there was one sentiment left. It worked wonderfully that the last one was stamped it on white. It went well with this stamp I have of a sailing ship on the water. I left a lot of the image white, and watercolored some areas with the three SU colors that begin with W. The water is Wild Wasabi and Turquoise to be the blue green of the ocean. The lighthouse is colored with Watermelon Wonder. I used Wisteria Wonder on the shadows of the rocks, the sails and the side of the lighthouse. Also, I outlined the two ovals with my Wisteria Wonder marker running it on its side along the edges. It provided some contrast for the white on white. I used two strips of color along the right side, a candy dot on the raised sentiment oval and of course, Washi tape for Letter W. Thank you Ann ~ Dockside for sharing! Thanks for looking!

Very lovely card Diane! I'm so glad you found a use for that sentiment. It's one of my favourites! The image you paired it with is absolutely perfect for it. I really like those green and grey horizontal stripes too!
