This was a bg that I made when doing a previous card...I usually make a few to use later. It is dylusion spreys with Tim Holtz distress inks sponged over a cloud stencil. The flowers were colored with gel pens and the border was doodled with a black sharpie. For the WT challenge to use fours, I have 4 layers, 4 flowers, 4 leaf vines, 4 little green bows, and my head hurts in 4 different places from struggling to tie those 4 little bows...I guess I will not include the 4 curse words that I used when I reached my patience limit. I added little blue raindrops with perfect pearls because we are always hoping for rain here in So. Calif. TFL, Francie

Francie, you can have our rain if I can have your beautiful card! Your bows are perfection my friend ... worth the effort for sure. I love the bright leaves on the dark envelope too!

Heehee - love your commentary and I'm sure we can all relate! These colors are so gorgeous and fun - love the whimsical flowers and of course, those 4 tiny bows : ) Very pretty envelope, too.

Francie, love your fanciful garden. The bright colors and funky flowers make it look like it could be in Oz! Your tiny bows look great, and your fingers must hurt too. I found this tutorial for making little bows with a fork that helped.
I swear we had a monsoon early this morning! It rained so hard, I couldn't sleep. Too bad some of those rain clouds didn't head south.

Your color combos are always so amazing! I love the way you did the clouds using blues and purples..so pretty!! Love the spring green colored dots framing your card and used on the envelope. This card makes me smile. I wish I could send some of our weather your way..we've had a good amount of rain and the temps are great..I picked strawberries yesterday and it was cool and the berries were amazing!

The colors on this just pop, Francie! Your background is fantastic, and the doodle flowers and vines ROCK! I'm so impressed with the bows - I would have given up after the first one!
