CAS has eluded me again - this started off simple - but grew as I went along.
The background is a water colour panel. The butterfly was then stamped again on a different scrap of water colour paper with the Misti to get a nice dark image. I then fussy cut the butterfly and mounted it on the background panel with stamped edges.
I have no doubt that we would all duck for cover if we saw this larger than life butterfly coming our way - so that is why it is called the Mother of all Butterflies.
For the challenge I used four layers of card, and used for little individual stamps to create the border on the main image. There are more than four butterflies on this card too - not encountering the Mother.
Hope you enjoy.

This is a gorgeous card Helen!! Your bg is beautiful, and that mother of all butterflies really pops!! I can't help but think there are four great big wings. I love how you have framed your edges too.
