I made this for the "weather me not " free 4 all challenge. Today's theme was to depict some kind of weather. I chose winter, as I am preparing for a class I will teach this Fall. They want pics. of projects now to put in flyer. First of all I embossed my snowflake then arranged the circle die where I wanted it and cut the circle out. Then I cut the big center snowflake and stickled the edges for some sparkle. there are actually 2 snowflakes there that are glued together with fishing line in between. One side of the snowflake says happy and the other side says holidays. You twist the line and when it opens the snowflake will spin. Love this kind of card....haven't made one in a long time. Anyway, I used the circle die to cut the circle in the white cs that borders the minty green/blue too. I lined those up and used a combo of tape, glue dots, and glue stick to hold it all together. The very back piece is the same minty green/blue. I layered 2 more snowflakes, put them in the corner, and added a gem. I went over the embossed snowflakes with a white chalk pencil.
thanks for taking a peek!
