Trash to treasure was the thought for the day. I love to recycle so to-day's challenge was perfect. The base card came from Mike's 'give-away' bin. This package had a tag on it that said..as is! That is like a red flag to a bull but for 25cents I couldn't resist! I have been seeing a lot of these accordion fold leaves in pinterest lately so I dug out some gold paper (actually the liner from a box of chocolates I received for Christmas). I am not sure where the chocolate went but never mind!! I dug deep and found some sequins at the bottom of my sewing basket from a very old tap-dancing costume..that's another story too..never mind!! LOL

Ha! Love your write-up for this, it made me laugh : ) You have created something very elegant from your bits of "trash" - love those accordion folded leaves and the note card was a great find!

OMGosh, this is outstanding, Mrs. Noofy. YOu and your finds. The things you find at Michaels. I'm going to start hangin' out there. Your card is wonderful. Talk about creativity...it's all right here girl (despite the fact that you have no idea where all the Christmas candy went).

I'd like to hear the "other stories", but your card is very elegant with those gold leaves (I am going to have to look for those on Pintrest) and sequins! I got a kick out of your card description!

Sue, this is gorgeous! Chocolate has some of the most interesting packaging, so we must sacrifice a little to get to that paper ; ) Those leaves are marvelous, definitely Trash to Treasure!! Beautiful combination. Thanks for playing in my challenge.
