I started with a splash watercolouring background. I have a tutorial on how I do this technique, click . It adds great visual texture and is so easy to do.
Then I die-cut the poppies from watercolour paper and used distress inks and a water brush to colour.

You never seem to run out of fresh ideas! The color of those poppies is gorgeous Loll, especially on that pretty paper you created! If only I can retain everything I see when I get to the craft room. Lots of senior moments here.
