This is my card for CAS380 (Polka/Stripes) and was to use both dots and stripes. I sliced two pages of the mat stack in half diagonally after cutting them to A2 size - and used one of each. Pretty simple. Then the fun started.
I have found that I am needing a lot more kids' birthday cards lately and I can get this style to at least three kids - one in each family.
After I glued down the dp, I cut an oval out of cardstock and another matching one out of burlap. Also stamped and fussy cut the flower for the mouth, but punched the eyes - both parts. (well that didn't sound good, did it! Anyway...the Greeting is computer generated and glued on. I like how it turned out and will make variations of it for the kids in my life. Thanks for looking.
