I made this for my sister's anniversary, coming up soon. Since I'm posting down a book I am lending her, the odd large size doesn't matter too much.
I used a ton of old reject backgrounds for this:
The background is smashed flowers.
The grass was a stencil monoprint with Brushos, and until I sponged green ink over it, the vivid green/white contrast was just too much.
The tree is also a stencilled background.
The roof is shaving foam marbling, then I scored it and stamped it with Canvas and brown ink.
The house is embossing folder kissing with a flourish EF and Canvas - I sponged it a bit to add colour.
I also added a door and window, thought it needed them.
The fence and door are blue inks sponged over gessoed card.
The little heart wreath is from Purple Onion Garden Blooms release, the tiny bird on the fence is from a Unity stamps (Welcome to the hood) and the IO cat was a RAK.
