Hello, Well no challenge for this but I thought I'd post it anyway! I used the nut on the workbench tools cut from chip board several times and glued them on a chipboard cut from the Pierced Rectangles, to make my frame then covered it with Alum. tape from the hardware store. I tooled it a bit to bring out the definition and then added black paint...wiped off the excess and added copper and turquoise paints as well. The aluminum on the bottom is done with some CD stuff Tonda Baldwin gave me and an EF then painted and wiped like the top. The inside is teal with a teal die Medallion die cut on top then silver Inka Gold rubbed on in places. This was made an easel card because I had too much to show for a regular card as I wanted the frame with the suit of armor AND the sentiments to all show. I decided to put the ornamental cross behind the armor as that represents Christ over-coming death and the cross to bring us life eternal and where our strength comes from.
More about this card is on my blog here
Thanks for looking!

AMAZING!!! This is totally awesome and thanks for posting the link to the website so we can get more details. You have some great techniques that can be used on other cards. Also, as a former faith formation teacher, I wish I had seen this then! I could have had the kids attempt to make this!

Robin, this is incredible. Your techniques are phenomenal. Plus, it has the best of all messages. I like what the former religious ed teacher said above. Wish this had been around a lot earlier. WOW

I am speechless (doesn't happen often), Robin. This is so over the top creative. You captured the feel of old worn metal perfectly. I have never done this technique, but I sure want to try. Such powerful symbolism. So glad I cecked your gallery or I would have missed this beauty.
