I had no idea what cloisonné was until I went online. It is so beautiful, and I realise now I have a bangle and earrings in this style. I am so going to make more things with this style.
I did not have any glossy magazines to use to make the faux cloisonne method outlined in the challenge, so I die-cut the tulips with gold mirror card and white card, coloring the negative white pieces with copics, and then slotting them into the gold outline.
The background orange panel is dry embossed, then a red ink pad swiped over to enhance the pattern.

Beautiful, Cindy. I'm do glad that the "everything old is new again" challenge this week was new to quite a few. And again, that the suggestion of using dies worked so well for you. I didn't think I had any suitable myself to test my idea with, but seeing yours, I think I'll take another trawl through my collection. The colours in this are just wonderful
