I made this for my DH for Father's Day. I discovered Gray Wolf Studios stamps at Auntie Amy's stamp convention this past weekend.
The fox is stamped on glossy card stock and colored in with SU markers. There is a black shadow layer, then the full stamp image, an additional layer of the fox's head and 2 layers of the tail. Each layer is attached with Pop Dots. I used Crystal Effects on the eyes to make them stand out too.
Its hard to see in the scan, but the number of layers makes a really cool 3D effect.

Beautiful coloring job - very realistic. I also love the shadowing and layers. Thanks for explaining how you did this - that was very helpful. This is a stunning card and I'm sure your DH will love it!
