I've been busy gardening even though school is finally done so I still haven't made it to the challenges of late. I had some ty notes and grad cards to get made, but I finally tried to get a card done for Sabrina's challenge today and while I was as it I used this week's colors. I stamped my balloon on a map page. I then scribbled some Cherry and Wasabi onto an acrylic block and picked up color with a wet brush to add color to my balloon. It is also spritzed with homemade shimmer spray with some Gold PearlEx. I also added some gold gel pen to teh balloon. I dry embossed my base with the World Traveler ef and added a strip of globe Washi tape. I placed this in my MISTI and stamped my sentiment multiple times to get coverage over my embossing. I had to end up using my marker to add a little into areas that just wouldn't pick up ink. I added my arrow brad for a bit more emphasis.

What a wonderful idea to stamp the balloon on a map background, Gail, very clever and effective. I thought the border was stamped vellum, washi tape must have been much less trouble. It looks great.

That arrow definitely emphasizes the sentiment, Gail! We have so much freedom in America, we can go wherever we choose! Great choice on the world traveler bg~
