I was trying to strive for the magical forests that Susie Australia always creates. After coloring the bird with copics and pencils, I dripped reinkers on the mixed media paper and sponged over that when dry with various inks, stamped the Jofy, the PB tree and the wild flowers. Stamped the bird on the cardbase and fussy cut the colored image. I formed his glasses with wire, then filled with Glossy Accents. I used Cosmic Shimmer paints to color the berries which had been embossed and to my delight, they are opaque and covered the black. They have a gorgeous shimmer to them. This one was fun to do. Thanks for stopping by.

Yay Nancy!! So good to see you! I love your bird and it (the bg) does remind me of Susie's terrific bg's!! You are a master of delight! I love your bird with the hand made glasses!! Amazing my friend! Everything you do is super amazing....we want more, we want more...heehee! Love you friend! This is a super card and I have to try out those cosmic shimmer paints. That reminds me of something I bought and forgot about...some sort of shimmer sprays...I'll have to get those out!

I am elated to see you back in the gallery, Nancy! You've brought with you a wonderful card. Yes, Ms. Susie does love her forests. I think when she sees this she will be delighted you've cased her and delighted with what she sees as your own creative flair. Your coloring is stellar and those glasses are a hoot. Love all the other images you've integrated into this oh-so-artistically fun creation.
