I was determined not to make a Christmas card with this color challenge. Turns out that really makes it quite the challenge if you don't have too many floral stamps to work with! I have been wanting to make some different things with the Lovely Laurels kit that I got last month, so I figured this was a good time to pull it out. I gave my hands an extra challenge and hand cut the bird and flowers. I love how it turned out. I'm still not sure if I'm going to leave it as is or add the "on your anniversary" sentiment in black ink below the image. The way my day is going I'm leaning toward leaving it. My cat already spilled my watercolor pallette on my iPhone while chasing a fly. I'm thinking it may not be worth the risk of opening up an ink pad next to an already finished card. One of those days.

Gorgeous! Beautiful image. I like how you cut it and laid it over the negative space with the red behind it. The gold/white stripes are fabulous with this design. Wonderful use of the colors. It's just awesome as it is! TFS

Great way to think outside the Christmas card "box"! Love that wreath and how elegant your card is. I think you made a good choice to wait until another day to maybe add the other part of the sentiment LOL! Hope your iphone is still functioning!

this is a pretty card-love the laurel wreath and your fussy cutting skills-it would make a great graduation card-more stampers thought flowers than Christmas-just the design team went the Christmas route and we didn't even consult with one another (lol)!

I love this! I just got this kit last month also - it seemed like it was out if stock forever! I love all the elements you combined to turn this into a great card.
