Today's challenges included stencil Monoprinting & May flowers - so I decided to combine the two. The first challenge was that I don't own ANY stencils - but the video said "make your own" (lol - that didn't work out well for me). Then my eye settled on the "grid" left behind from the large dimensionals I use from time to time. I slid the glossy side over my rainbow pad then spritzed generously with water and stamped onto the watercolor paper - yeah! Success! Once that piece dried I stamped the tulip & saying from SU garden Whimsy set. Decided to frame it in black for more POP - first I punched with my corner adorner, then trimmed with Scalloped edged scissors. To finish I mounted the entire piece on pale yellow cardstock base and added a few random sequins.

Way to be creative with that makeshift stencil! I can see exactly how that would work perfectly! Very pretty tulip and greeting winding around it, as well.
