This card was designed in honor of Memorial Day using Artistic Outpost stamps and the PPA302 Sketch.
I am also linking to the Mix-Ability MIX137 "It's A Grand Old Flag" Challenge, the Alphabet Wk19 "S" Challenge (Stars, Stripes, Serviceman, Stitched Dies) and the All Occasion Card Challenge for May.
I have more details on My Blog along with the initial card that was modified for the final version :-)
I pray that we never forget those that have lost their lives fighting for our country- because of their heroism, we can be free....
Thanks again for taking the time to look and all of the encouragement it is to me- hugs and I hope you have a safe weekend, my friends!

I have never so much art work in a 5” square. What wonderful work in support a wonderful tribute! I have a slight preference for Version #1 (no stars and darker background) over the other version. I am a vet from USAF 1971-73.

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments!
BrentsCards, I liked version one better but since my hubby thought it looked too busy, so I decided to add the additional Gesso and stars....thanks for your input and service to our country- you are one of my heroes for sure- hugs!

Stand out card, Julie! Love everything about it. The stars and stripes, the stains, the sanding (distressing), the striking message, the sum of it all. Great! I like both versions of your card. Another fabulous tribute to our men & women who gave it all so we can enjoy the freedom we have. Ever grateful. TFS
