I was very inspired by this card because of the text background. I love anything with text, script, or music on it and this card fit the bill.
I changed the text to music and added die cut trees to mine. The trees are made from a recycled burger box. I used the bottom of the box. I peeled the paper off to use the corrugated part.
Next I brayered the cardboard with green ink. It changed the look a little, but didn't make the trees green as I had hoped. Sponging may have worked better.
I carefully glued the trees on the card and added the computer generated sentiment.
Thanks for looking and Sarah, thanks so much for sharing your lovely cards.

Carol.....I don't just want to keep calling you clever and creative over and over but you are clever and creative.....lol! I LOVE that you die cut your trees out of corrugated cardboard. I can see why you would have thought to go with a brayer.....I think the look is perfect.

Oh I Love these kraft trees with the little bits of green, Carol! Very nice masculine card. I'm amazed that you would think to tear the burger box up so you could use the inside piece! How Smart of you~ And I'll bet you are super savvy in other areas too!

Very cool Carol!! I love that color of blue, and the music band across really makes those trees pop off the page!!
