I paper pieced a digital image. I masked her and I splattered white acrylic paint with a toothbrush. I also sprayed the background with gold shimmer spray. I cut roses from the same dp as her dress and added them to her hair and edges of the dress. I added embossed vellum butterfly for her wings. I embellished the frame with ribbons and pearls.

WOW now that is one FABULOUS frame!! I love the gold..it gives it an antique-y look and your roses and bow with the pearls are really pretty. And what a darling fairy you chose to frame. I love the paper piecing and the vellum wings..very artsy! Thanks for playing today and making a wonderful sample card

What a great idea for the wings, MariLynn. Your bow is so pretty and the frame is just awesome. You've made a super mixed media piece.

Great faux barn-board, I still get such unpredictable results with that that I don't often try. And I love the flowers from her dress drifting down to the ground.
