I made a frame around my image.
There so many stitches around it ...too many to count.
Some books are also stitched together...
I made this card for a boy who loves to read ...he is a real bookworm.
The image is cut by hand into several layers and made 3D.

Another great book image - it reminds me of the one you had with the bird with books tucked under its wing. And that is an amazing amount of stitching, and so beautiful. And thinking that you had to pierce it first - that's a lot of work.

Wowza your stitching is amazing and the colored thread goes wonderfully with your book worm image. So incredibly cute and I am sure the book worm little boy will just love the dimension and great image on this card. Thank you for joining in on the In Stitches challenge.
