I painted the black paint on mixed media paper, let it dry, and then stamped various flowers and leaves around the edge creating my frame. These were embossed with white ep. The children are stamped on glossy paper using StazOn ink. I sponged distress inks on those to color the images and then cut them out. They're outlined with neon colored gel pens to make them stand out against the white and black. Want to have some fun?? Check out the MIX challenge!

Love the white embossed images that framed this fabulous card and message!! Wouldn't it be wonderful to hold onto that innocence and blind trust forever, but the cruelness of this world seems to rob us of it way too soon.

Love how you created your frame, Polly. TFS the how-tos. The sentiment is one we could all take to heart....and, of course, your vintage children complete the card.

thanks for such a great challenge today, Polly. You did an absolutely wonderful job with bringing us a cool challenge. Your card sounds like it took some time, but, oh, the end result is striking with your black bg and white embossed flowers.
