AmberÂ’s lovely card reminded me of a favorite stamp. I was so surprised to learn that she had used a stencil instead of a stamp. For my card, I used markers to color the stamp. The flowers were colored first with Cantaloupe and then Coral on the edges. Wild Wasabi was used for the stems and leaves. Before stamping, I misted lightly with water to rehydrate the ink. After stamping and all had dried, I dotted Daffodil in the flower centers. For the case: I used similar colors with a colored card base instead of white. I kept it a birthday card with a different stamp. I used several butterflies in different colors rather than just one. No pearls on mine. I love how this turned out and especially appreciate that it will be easy to mail. Thanks to Amber for the inspiration and to Kittie for the challenge. Thanks to you for looking!
